At Hines Dermatology Associates, we believe that physician availability is an important factor in providing quality medical care. For that reason, we offer our patients timely appointments—typically within a day or two. Any patient with an urgent problem will be offered an appointment on the same day. On the rare occasion when an emergency disrupts the schedule, a member of our staff will endeavor to contact affected patients.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Patients who do not give sufficient notice will be charged for the missed appointment.

Fees and Payments
Hines Dermatology Associates accepts payment from many major insurance companies. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are also accepted.
In an effort to hold down administrative costs, we try to limit monthly billing. Payment is therefore due at the time of each visit for all medical services not covered by insurance.
Patients are welcome to discuss fees, as well as any difficulty in paying them, with our billing department. Our billing department can be reached at (508)222-1976 during regular office hours.
Telephone Calls
Patients are encouraged to call our offices with questions, particularly about medication. If the question cannot be readily answered by a trained member of our staff, the message will be relayed to a doctor, who will speak to you directly.
Please call during regular office hours whenever possible to ensure our ready access to patient records.
Calls received after hours or on weekends will be answered by our service, which relays messages to Dr. Hines. Your call will be returned in a timely manner.
For prescription refills, patients should direct the pharmacy to call during regular office hours.
Handicapped Access
Hines Dermatology Associates’ office has wheelchair ramps and is fully accessible to the handicapped.
